St. John's United Church of Christ has served it's congregation in the Village of Brighton, Illinois, since 1870.
Situated on the corner of Maple and North Streets, all are welcome here!

Sunday School meets at 9:15 on Sunday mornings (upstairs classroom for children 3-15).
Worship follows at 10:15 am.

Our pastor is Rev. Laurie Crelly.
Our church secretary is Ms. Melinda Austin.
Our organist is Mrs. Rhonda Vonnahmen.

In January 2016 we became an Open and Affirming Congregation of the United Church of Christ.

In the spirit of love and acceptance, we acknowledge and affirm the equal value of people
of all ages, races, nationalities, ethnicities, cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions
regardless of physical, mental, or emotional abilities, family structures, faith backgrounds, or socio-economic status.
In our diversity we find strength and a way to understand the inclusiveness of God.
All are welcome to worship with us, become members, and participate in the life and leadership of our congregation.

By entering into this Open and Affirming Covenant of Inclusivity we make a public commitment to enter into a relationship
of peace, harmony, and authenticity with all members of our community.
